Part I: Terra Incognita
I ache in the wake of this unknown mistake
Nasolacrimal paralyzed, I tremble and shake
Treading softly after this answer I'm after
Ignoring the assumed thoughtless laughter

I kill off this chill near the top of the hill
My senses dull longer, I climb higher still
My rear-view mirror is broken and gone
Hopeful ameliorating, new day breaks dawn

I found you there during loveless distress
You left me here under clueless duress
Another bond is broken, another table turns
One flame is doused, yet one forever burns

It's safe to say I'm in an anonymous state
Safer still to say this state I did not create
Enamored for so long then trapped again
Unknowing as to why this rancor I send

If I never know why it will be too soon
With this tempest I am forced to commune
The stoic face forever infiltrates my brain
The words reverberate as they yield no pain

Through all of my pain she remains catatonic
So cold and uncaring, intentions demonic
I guess I'll carry this distress forever more
Unnamed feeling could be the start of the war

A failed relationship.
