Little Angel

Her appointed journey became a meandering trip

Finally landing softly on my index finger tip

In a deliberate way she motioned for me to bring her near

This tiny little angel wanted to whisper something in my ear

Those who love me she said the ones that really do care

Fulfilled the requirements for her arrival by saying a prayer

It was now her responsibility to watch over me day and night

To suffer along with my foolishness but never let me out of sight

Such a large responsibility for this small one sent from above

It doesn’t matter who brings it when they hold the power of love

If that inner voice doesn't speak of the importance of love, I'd listen to another voice.....Very charming, Shady...YOU are one of the good guys. Your wife is lucky to have you, but I'm sure you remind her of that every day... :o)..Yer good pal. len
