The girl that was homely; everyone ignored,
The boy that was smart; everyone he bored.
The girl that was pretty; all the guys used,
The boy, who seemed so innocent, hides his deep dark truth.
The girl that gave it up; her belly continues to grow,
The boy that is the father; still doesn't know.
The girl that got suspended; was doing the right thing,
The boy that still goes to school, doesn't even think,
That what he did was wrong, so he framed it on her,
The girl should have run away, not waited for the burn.
The girl that’s anorexic keeps on losing weight,
The boy that popped ecstasy is waiting for his fate.
The girl that cuts her wrists at night, people call her names,
The girl that wears the makeup, people call her fake.
The boy that hides the bruises, people walk right by,
The boy that seems unbreakable; every night he cries.
The boy that plays football, all the girls want,
The girl that is a cheerleader, all the jocks taunt.
The boy that has a girlfriend, thinks it’s an excuse,
To have unprotected sex, and not worry about the truth.
People may act one thing, and hide whats really there,
But how can you label someone, if you don’t even care?
Everyone is different, and struggles with their own things,
So who are you to label them, when you care what everyone thinks? |
