This nightmare is my lie

I've been destroyed a thousand times

Trapped in a nightmare I call my life

Dying just to live a lie

Feelings cut me like a knife

Chasing shadows on the wall

As I slowly go insane

All my hope seems void and small

Feeling poison in my veins

I dont know what I've done

I only know what I've become

Something we both detest

It's been years since I was laid to rest

As I awaken my hunger never ends

And this nightmare is my lie

You thought that we were friends

But when I am done you'll never die

Fletch, I will have to say horror is not my style! I guess its because I have been exposed to so much horror in my life, that it reflects such a bad influence upon my life to even read it! You are a wonderful writer! But I really enjoy reading more of your uplifting poems! I did read this one, about halfway. Then I skipped to the bottom and read above the picture! YOU FREAK ME OUT! I got to keep positive thoughts around me, in this time of my life! HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND!

Wow!!!

This was great Fletch! I love your horror. Only you can bring them to life and take the reader inside for a peek that once there boggles the mind.. As always, another winner in my book!

Yours,

Moonie
