Wind and Water
Limp, dewy convas struck by a fiery ray,
Far off ripples forecast a windy day.
Creaking, she leans away from the wind,
With its rising power, he suddenly grinned.
The happy burble where the prow meets the ocean
Lifts his spirits like a magic potion.
With iron-bound hands and sun-dark face wizened,
He steadies the wheel and searches the horizon.
