Fallen Angel

It is truly an occasion to mourn

Soft and delicate from inception

This little one carried the essence

Sent from heaven with a mission

She traversed on the wings of love

Only to now become a fallen angel

Pity the poor soul who has lost love

For it was only love that kept her aloft

Losing love is definitely crippling. Even fallen angels rise and soar again. Lovely poem, well done Steve!
