Truth or Dare?
A fantasy is floating away,
as the colors blend and the feelings stay.
Helplessly I keep letting them go,
watching the impossibilities grow.
And when they splatter and leave the sky,
I'm covered in what's left of a stinging goodbye.
My skin is glowing with the wish of a dream,
when the truth and its beauty aren't what they seem.
lies, lies, lies.
I'm covered in lies.
A ship with wings and a horse that flies.
A story all children wish to be true,
I guess I'm a child when it comes to you.
When everything seems to soar,
The sky is crowded and I want more.
When everyone but myself learns to fly,
I look for the answers in a broken sky.
Only lies can travel in the endless air,
the truth is earth-bound, limited to care.
The gravity of honesty has made me weak,
stuck to the ground, unwilling to speak.
I glance up and watch you fly by,
and I remember that you are just a lie.
A beautiful, flawless and lovely deception,
the only lie capable of perfection.
lies, lies, lies.
I'm lost in lies.
The color of illusion,
glistening in your eyes.
Only fools believe in unfaithful blue,
I guess I'm foolish when it comes to you.
I know I'm small from your point of view,
but the wind is in your face, blinding what's true.
The ground might seem hard to find,
but it's only an illusion from within your mind.
I've been too busy lost in the sky,
and my imagination is starting to fly.
Once I let it take hold,
I'll feel the wind of lies, a bitter cold.
I can open my eyes and lift from the ground,
because with you, I'm no longer earth-bound.
lies, lies, lies
I'm floating with lies.
They cover me in a beautiful disguise.
Only dreams know what to do,
I guess I'm awake when it comes to you.
I guess I'm alive when it comes to you.
I know I'm alive when it comes to you.

I really like this. I am really fond of the whole "flying lies" concept and you did  a wonderful job describing it. There are a lot of greal lines in here that I love like "The color of illusion, glistening in your eyes", and the ending as well. Great job, as usual = )
