Logic is a Prison
Count with her―
Immerse yourself in numbers,‭ ‬charts,‭ ‬and graphs,
Pressing on into eternity.
Don't you know that's the landscape?
No horizon―
Parabolas that curve back on themselves;
Everything aligns with everything.
Everything is labeled,‭ ‬boxed,‭ ‬and shelved.

Where is she inside it all?
Under‭ '‬L‭' ‬for‭ '‬Lost and Found‭'?
Under‭ '‬P‭' ‬for‭ '‬Paradox‭'?
You're her friend―
Why don't you find her?

Brave those streets,
The skyscrapers of binary construction;
Tiny little gardens,‭ ‬too,
Laid out in marching metric mazes:
Catalogued.
Every living thing breathes in time―
Nothing deviates from the pattern.
Nothing is allowed to splice together.

Where is she inside it all?
Under‭ '‬N‭' ‬for‭ '‬Nowhere‭'?
Under‭ '‬H‭' ‬for‭ '‬Hiding‭'?
You're her friend―
You rather ought to find her.

You're her friend―
Why don't you find her?
You rather ought to find her
When she doesn't want to be found.

Jessica -  This is an interesting work.  It almost seems like one of the parties in this work is lost in his or her own little world, not caring that others are in need.
