The Tour Guide of the Sky
shimmer brightly to please
glimmer softly in the breeze
light my mind with beaming praise
set my darkest thoughts ablaze
bloom amongst the deadly night
bring the heaviest mind to light
remember me as i struggle to shine
remind me that the stars are mine
glisten in grieving surrender
whisper the rainbows soft and tender
a beautiful sunrise is waiting
the serenity of night is fading
a new morning, a new light
another chance before the night
perhaps tonight the stars will guide us
instead of our mistakes that timidly hide us
break the horizon and steer towards the sun
wrap me up in shining inspiration
the rise of today has just begun
and yesterday is a paling sensation
happiness flows through me at the speed of light
the colors of the unchained
forgetfullness and regretfulness ignite
the shadows left detained
i look up to an inspiring sky
remembering the night that passed by
the stars weakly shimmered in lies
the illumination of revealed disguise
you shined the brightest of them all
determined to catch me when i fall
you carried me into a colorful thought
you raised me as the fallen star you caught
and now i've risen so close to the sun
brighter than ever, convinced i am one
a new morning, a new light
you have saved me from an endless night
