The truth from manure

GET ME A GLASS
MAKE ME A DRINK
LET'S GET TOGETHER
TO SIT DOWN AND THINK
IT MAY BE A LONG
HARD NIGHT AHEAD
WE HAVE GOT TO TALK
BEFORE WE LAY DOWN FOR BED
YESTERDAYS GONE
I CAN'T FORGET
HELP ME DEAR ONE
TO GET OVER IT
YOU'VE BEEN UNFAITHFUL
THAT MUCH IS TRUE

HOW CAN I
JUST FORGIVE YOU
IT'S NOT IN MY HEART
TO NOW WALK AWAY
TELL ME OH TELL ME
WHY SHOULD I STAY
GIVE ME A REASON
I SHOULD TRUST YOU
I AM PACKING MY BAGS
I AM OUT THE DOOR
IF I CANT TRUST YOU
I CANT LOVE YOU NO MORE
YOU SAY YOUR SORRY
AND YOU MEAN IT FOR SURE
BUT HOW CAN I TELL
THE TRUTH FROM MANURE

Author's Notes:
This is just a bit of fiction
 I hope you like it!

just found this ole thing!  from the first serious words to the very end...you had my attention!  "it may be a long hard night ahead...we've got to talk"...sets the tone. glad i read this....and yes, it was the word manure that caught my eye...i wont lie...I used to tease a cajun friend unmercifully about how she said manure...

Who knows what is harbored in any heart. Trust is a roll of the dice.

This is very well written.

I enjoyed it along with the apropos graphic.

Wow!!!! Fletch I loved this!!

The picture gave it such substance that my eyes kept moving towards it, then back to your words, back to the picture, back... Well you got my meaning!

Excellent job my friend...

I need to learn how to do that picture thing...

Yours,

Moonie
