what a shame it is
let the good times disappear,
hide from your shadow out of fear.
you don’t want to hear.
a shame to let your worst memories reappear.
they’ll say now that you’ve been asked to leave.
focus on the cloud above
of in her eyes,
words you told were lies.
can you to see an angel
you’re acting like a fool.
good neighbors living by the rule,
weirdly cause others think it’s cool.
time hoping silently
new days of the past.
circles in the grass.
out uneasily for nothing within your grasp.
since long ago felt that you were freed at last.
one else is here today,
be strange love to my dismay.
that talking about the roads end,
is that you, or just my peers again?
walked into my painting,
foolish for some to mention.
one was there waiting,
I kept right on going.
ashamed to believe there would ever be another,
have indeed enlightened me, thank you all forever.
