A Ballad to my Love
Formerly a sonnet daily
My love did hope to get,
But now I cannot write so gaily
And she is sore upset.
But age does wither all man's parts,
Makes all his talents limp,
His brain and  his creative arts
And his loving imp!
Yet I will strive to write for her
A ballad now and then
And try some pleasure to confer
By raising up my pen**

Clever little ditty David...I'm sure your pen (and vivid imagination) will be quite enough to satisfy your lady.

As long as you have ink in your pen, or lead in your pencil, I'm sure you'll keep her satified, David... :o)  Very clever write.....len

Ahhh ...the romantic ballad from your poetic pen
and the sensual pleasure that comes within

Your sensual lady with playful smile
as your love words you will beguile

A manly writing poet you will always remain
writing love sonnets whispering blazing name

You inspire me your fault!! ( Smiless
