KEEP ON

I am surprised, how life is being lived

seems all is becoming more instinctive.

Despite our modern knowledge of the past,

so hard recreating love that will last.

Most of earth's wealthiest men live to lead,

their workers paid to satisfy the greed.

I heard they have taken all your money,

that you lost your love and all itís glory.

Oh, how terribly you must have suffered,

once you first felt cherished habits altered.

The first time you had to plead or borrow,

a thousand dollars until tomorrow,

knowing that father, friend or family

could'nt even afford to lend you any.

Like others we have feelings of despair,

searching for that someone with whom to share,

all our haloed thoughts from that special light,

enhancing moments dreamed, just one good night.

Drink this wine my sweet love from wherever,

hug hopes of dayís inviting another.

I toast your presence, warmth, sincerity,

another star of opportunity.

Raymond,
My goodness what a lovely work of art you have written... It touches me deeply as you may know by now... Through lifes sorrow and mourning we just have to keep struggling  don't we?  Survival is the will to live...
