A dark poem about letting go of our fears. Not about what some may think
There seems to be a dark cloud that follows them all everywhere
Hour after hour and day after day
Escape just does not seem possible from the storm
Kindered souls joined in their shared misery bring the monster with them wherever they go
Anyone who takes them in are visted too by the lady's vengenful eye
Turned into unwilling unsupecting victims right alongside them
Running is never an option left open once she has them in her stormy sights
Insanity, looting and rape are her dark rewards bestowed upon Satan's darkest angels
Never quite as poor or as innocent to us as some seek to appear
Arrival of their masses can only bode ill for all the rest of us
Cold and cruel to the core?
Under our roofs do they wish only to steal away the sweetest of our dreams?
Ruining a sunny day with the wind and rain bringing forth their pain
Someday will we learn too late not to be quite so trusting?
Or will their burden of fate someday be ours to share?
A barren empty wasteland full of broken hearts and shattered once youthful dreams
Replaced by the devil red's own devious schemes
Only time and human nature will tell
