Smile for the Camera
I wear that sinful smile on my sweet lips.
I bite myself.
Blood slowly leaks out from the corner of my mouth as the result of where I had drank my own blood from that bite.
As I lay there in the bath water, washing over my every curve of my body.
I feel the head pounding against my flesh.
It feels so good washing away that crimson liquid from my wrists.
Down the drain it goes.
I bleed more from my wounds as I drag that shiny sharp dagger across my tender flesh.
My lips quiver for Death's Kiss.
My Hazel eyes becoming nothing but a dull lifeless shade of brown.
I slice again and I feel more pain, but I know that I must bury myself in my own blood.
I feel the cold darkness closing around me.
I still hold onto that sinful smile.
Welcoming my insanity.
Make me bleed from within, take me into your hand and lead me into your land.
Hold my broken heart with glee and watch me smile.
I finally drop the blade and my eyes begin to close.
But, don't worry my love.
For you see, I wont go sad.
Because, I will always smile for the camera.

Author's Notes:
A simple poem.
And an old one at that.
This was actually written by yours truly about two years ago.
Its a bit scattered and rough, I was in a bad time back then. As you can tell.
