One more idea (and it is just an idea...I am only trying to help here).....I did an album for a lady that lost her husband....On the background pages were his photos as I had described in my earlier comment...but on some of the pages for the background....I had his children, grandchilden, wife and sisters and brothers write out briefly a "favorite" memory they had with the deceased.....some even remembered some of his advice to them in earlier years and such....and they signed their name to it.....That made beautiful backgrounds for some of the pages....so what I am suggesting is his family here at CP could send (by mail) to me their favorite memory, or a favorite photo, or advice that Richard shared with them (anything they fondly remember of him) and I could use those as backgrounds on the papers....anything that you care to share in memory of Richard.....If you need to contact me, you can email me @ email@example.com...I would be glad to share my phone # if need be. Remember, this is just an idea......I will be using art...lions...fishing...gardening (he loved his garden)......nature....poetry....quotes...there is just so much I could use with this. If i can help in any way.....I am here. But remember...it takes time to complete this project...but well worth the wait.

I would be delighted to print them off on a nice paper and on the paper I can put all his photos as a background...each sheet having a different photo of Richard and some of his art work that he sent to me...very lightly to where you can tell it is him and his art, but light enought that one can read the poem. I have a program here on my computer. If you think that is a good idea please let me know...I have done this work for many "scrap bookers" and for invitations, wedding and such. It is simply beautiful....Just let me know...I would be delighted to do it. I have been working on a scrapbook of Richard for his daughter Monica for 2 days now....it will take me awhile to complete but it is gonna be well worth the wait....
My poems for Richard are titled:
2. Lionheart~My "SW"
3. For Lionheart~Sunshine upon your heart
4. As I sit benrath the stars~For Lionheart
5. Heaven's artist~In loving memory of Richard Flores~"SW"
If I can be of help, just let me know.

This is a great idea....although I didn't get the chance to know him as well as everyone else here at CP, I have managed to read some of his poems....He was a great man who will be missed dearly....his presence here at CP has made an impact on so many of us...and was a blessing to everyone.

Mine is "Farewell, Lionheart." I think this is a great idea, and you are a wonderful one to suggest this. There are so many beautiful poems that have been dedicated to this much loved man...and I pray that they will bring peace and some joy to his family during this time of great loss.
Sending hugs and shedding tears....

My poem for Richard was called One More Star. This is a beautiful idea Ham. Whenever they are at a low point, perhaps it will help them some.
I can only hope they have the strength this great man was composed of now, to help guide and comfort them in this sad, sad time. It is a time to draw on our love, faith, and memories to endure.
His daughters meant the world to him. We can at least give them this small token for sharing him with us here.
Richard, it was a pleasure; an honor. And now, you live everywhere. Everywhere.
With Deepest Sympathy to Julie, Monica, and Tammy, and all the family. I am so sorry.

|I'm happy to have my poem, "Where Have All The Fireflies Gone?" included in this project. I hope it will be a comfort to his family to know how well loved and respected Richard was by all of us. ML|

That is a lovely gesture and one that I am sure will be very much appreciated by his children and grandchildren too who are all hurting so much at this time.
A very kind thing.
My poems were The Moon Fell
and For You Richard which is actually a recitation of Kahlil Gibran because we shared a love of him.
I will send the mp3 separately if they want it. I already sent them the recording of The Moon Fell.
Now that Richard is no longer with us I feel it is befitting we honour his nearest and dearest. Thank you for this.

Ham, may I suggest you ask Penny to do the printing and presentation. She was a very good friend of Richards and I know it would be a comfort to her to do this. Please consider it carefully. Thank you for this thoughtful and kind gesture, what a wonderful idea. Bless you!
