The Heart Of A Lion

We walk the path of shadows

To the peace of eternal light

Whispers of humanity our beacon

Do not cry for those delivered up

An unseen hand lifts our burden

Heavenly comfort is our shroud

Free of all mortal imperfections

Relieved of all human suffering

As it has been said

As it has been written

So it shall become

Words burn in vain but his words linger in their flame. This is nice Steve. He was a good man.

There is little to say at a time like this. Nothing takes away the pain, and nothing will ever will the void this creates. He lives in all of us now, through words and thought.
Thank you,
this was beautiful.

A man so loved by his friends should be able to read the wonderful things that have been written about him here. But maybe he knows all this without being told. These are expecially uplifting words. This is what we need more of at this difficult time. Thank you. ML

This news has left CP in darkness. Richard was loved for his character and personality. He generously shared his wisdom and creativity. Many here developed friendships with him as the many dedications posted yesterday and today indicate. We shall miss our fisherman, the golfer, the man with the brush to bring beauty to the world...but most of all we shall miss the loving heart of a man who gave a little of himself to each of us.

Heartfelt condolences go out to his many friends at CP and especially his family. Those we love never die, they live on in memory.

This is a beautiful post Steve, full of comfort and promise.

Another beautiful poem in respect and love for Richard. I pray he is seeing it all...I really do. He would be so happy to see how we miss him.

I am still in disbelief..thinking its all a bad dream
