moonlight

Moonlight

A black and white reflection
In a moonlight of rejection
The cure to some infection
A love of pure injection

Moonlight

A lonely man bereft
Found a street light of the past
Dancing softly in the moonlight
For a love that he had cast

Moonlight

Time that love abandoned
Plays a gentle tune
Why kiss me in the morning
The moonlight waits for you.

John,
I suppose this part really moves my romantic heart...moonlight inspires the passion to come alive...as two look into the eye sof love...
simply lovely as can be...

 Hugs ~ She Whispers

Time that love abandoned

Plays a gentle tune

Why kiss me in the morning

The moonlight waits for you.

For a dead and dusty planet, Luna sure inspires a lot of romance in us humans, huh? len

The moon is just too inspiring for we, as poets, to let it rest. Lovely!

Yes! Moonlight holds this type of fascination for most of us.

I do alot of my living by the moonlight.

Good work.
