Know Each Other
We talk at first just to break the ice
Ask each other questions that is nice
Dig deep to find the real each other
Donít want to push, Donít want to smother

Just relax, see me for me
Answer all question honestly
Lets have a friendly conversation
Then maybe we can find elation

Friends come first then maybe more
Questions to be asked, questions galore
Try to feel comfortable with just the chatter
Then maybe meeting comes in the latter

If we know each other,  likes us as friends
Than you never know what might transcend
To know the heart and soul of another being
Then you  truly know them with out ever seeing!!!!

I loved the word "honestly" in this poem. I think it is a key ingredient in a relationship. This poem is like a recipe for romance, I should have this on my mirror so I get it right. *lol* Good penning Cathy...this poem shaped up better than some romances do. =))

That get-aquainted period can be a lot of work when you do it on a regular basis. I'm glad my dating days are behind me... Imaginitive rhyming here, Cathy...len

Ahhh, yes..."poet speak". You know, you worked this into

a pretty good poem.

I've noticed alot of folks play poetry "games" this way  :o)

Hugs,

Richard
