of ellipses and endless expansions
I felt we were souls drifting by chance
Before I knew of all of our advancements
Then I learned of orbits and how they dance
I felt like were were ellipses given the circumstances

But I wanted to know how we came to this stance
And the theory seemed to settle certain answers
How we could be a singularity in that past romance
and how we now move apart further and faster in expansions

I wanted to know where we came from and how we'd advance
And I got all the answers to our past I had never asked
I thought we moved away slow and came together enhanced
But the truth is were are not ellipses,
....but an unexplained universe moving away forever in an expanse
