I love the wind
It blows away the fatalities of fate
Wiles standing on the balcony of affirmation,
Awaiting the beginning

In a downwards spiral.
I see me watching
As my life pass me by
On flashing screens and kaleidoscope colour.
I close my arms and hold me close,
Remembering the Seven Ages,
Realizing my place in this world.
I hush my eyes,
It is the beginning of my play.
I take a bow
And the stage is set…

I've read a number of your poems now and the thing that strikes me more than most is the sneaky way you work in a rhythm where there does appear to be one at all. here i am minding my own business reading your poems and thinking "okay its nice imagery but does not flow for me that well...except that bit does now that i've read it as a whole and oh so does that and that"

Also and I'm not sure you do this on purpose but your rhyming structure or some say meter or pattern is also a tad sneaky too as I am constantly impressed by how you bring in the rhyme from nowhere and often its a rhyme(for me at least) thats not at the end of the statement or line

Very original....the structure itself......the words capture the attention of the reader.  Excellent !

Hushing your eyes is very original, Adri. I never thought about the connection between fatality and fate before...Life is fatal, isn't it? How depressing.. Beautiful wording, kid

PS "my place in this word. Should that be world??...len
