Why?
Why did I not see it coming?
You talked about it all the time
Told me how you wish you could die
Peacefully in your sleep
Never thought you would
We talked so often
You had so many friends
But I guess in the end
It never really did matter to you
We all cared about you
Why did I not do anything
To stop you from doing it
If I only knew
That you would have done it
I would have tried to stop you
I cared about you
Admired you
But now you will never see
How much pain you had caused your friends
You were so young
Had a life to live
But now you are in the grave
And you left us hanging here
Wondering why
Why did you go and do that for

Author's Notes:
May not make to much sense.. A co-worker/ friend took her own life a couple months ago she was only 17 and I sometimes wonder if there was anything more I could have done to try and stop her from doing it.

Oh so tragic.  I am so sorry for your loss dear soul.  How could you have seen it coming.  You were not looking for it.  Hind sight is always 20/20 my friend.  Rest easy.

You ask that question everyone asks when someone ends their own life.  It is so difficult to understand how anyone could be that unhappy.  Well done sir.  ~Pamela

Aww..this is so sad. Im sure that you were there for her whenever she told you that she wanted to die, and its really hard trying to talk someone out of it.. i've been there in that situation. And it hurts when someone you love or care about wants to leave like that.. I'm sorry for your loss.. but this does make sense and i understand it. You are just a caring friend that's going through a hard time b/c of what she did. But its a good write, and you seem like a good caring person.
