Happiness Is...
               Happiness Is...
               Being your companion
               with the dawns and dusks,
               where the sunlight and mist
               meet the water's cool edge.
               Laughing and tending,
               healing and mending
               wounds born of
               anguish and strife.
               Enjoying what has been
               so elusive before,
               just beginning each day
               without a set rule.
               Learning and believing,
               creating and achieving
               the most and the best
               out of life.
               Making the long run
               and leaving behind
               just enough to prove
               it was somehow worthwhile.
               Loving and caring,
               living and sharing
               with you...
               by my my side.

Richard, I have always wondered how one can be happy because most of the time I am not although I lead a very busy life and I have my Art to cheer me up.
I am going to follow your advice and for once live without any rules and try to mend those deep wounds that torture my spirit. Maybe laugh more often, too.

A beautiful inspirational poem...

The last happiness  i recall  "a walk in the park"

                                             a kiss in the dark

a sail boat ride>>>  I must say Steve thats a little understated

compared  to this very lovely poem...."Loving and caring,

                                                           living and sharing

                                                           with you...

                                                           by my side................Just wonderful ....Connie
