Fallen Idol
Dreamed all my life
About a moment like this
Onstage with the fans screaming my name
Fame only a few votes away
But at what cost?
What price to my soul?
He promised me the world
A star
On the Hollywood walk of fame
Instead I get this
A baby on the way and a bad reputation
They call me
The fallen idol

Fell in love
Behind the scenes
We kept it a secret
So that no one would know
Whisper behind our backs
About the night
I was seduced
Falling so easy
Into his arms and into his bed
All for the promise he made
That I would be a superstar
Sadly instead I was betrayed by his charm
Branded the fallen idol

Now I'm a celebrity
But not the kind
That I wanted so badly to be
Made me his whore
Had hoped I would be his wife
Found out far far too late
Things are not always what they seem
When you're blinded
By the glitter of Hollywood fame
Hide my face in shame
Wish now that I'd been stronger
Told him no
I don't wannabe a fallen idol

Everyone knew
What he was really like
His other girls tried to warn me
Even Paula said beware
If he asks for a love affair
But young and dumb
I did't want to listen
Believed his lies
Told in the dark and the throes of
A shared passion
Only to find that I was't the first
Hoping that by coming forward
And telling my story will make me

The last one he never hurts
With all those pretty words and false promises
This is my story
All painful and all too true
This is the story of.......

A fallen American Idol
