The Would be Gardener

The would be Gardner

She planted with hope in Spring
The seeds
That tomorrow would bring
A plethora of colour
An abundant array
She waited for Summer
With each passing day.

She watched them with maternal eyes
They breached the earth that held them
Stronger they grew
But little she knew
Of the earth
That completely surrounds them

She has a garden so beautiful
For nature had its way
Itís full of flowers that abound
In a natural kind of array.

Sowing seeds with love and care then seeing a beautiful garden grow makes all the work worth while. Beautifully written.

It is emotionally rewarding to see the seeds we sow thrive and bloom...there is nothing as beautiful as a garden of love. Lovely! =))

Brilliant poem John. We reap what we sow. Must have green fingers. Nothing like gardening its very therapeutic. Especially on hot summer days.
