Where Is The Love?
                    If you can feel
                    unspoken words
                    of intense desire
                    no voice could imply;
                    if you know the
                    ecstasy of release...
                    the giving or receiving
                    of life
                    or the vision
                    of a loved one's
                    gentle smile
                    and the exquisite
                    taste of happy tears...

                    this is where love is.

How I miss your simple wisdom Richard.  My heart aches still - yet thanks you so for having held it.  ~Pamela

I've read several of your poems and I'm truly impressed by your talent. It's not easy to write pieces that have that "matter of fact, yet sensitive" style.I'll check back soon.
Take care.

These are the things that need to be re-inforced. Love isn't all that complicated after all. It;s the simple and obvious things such as this that define love. Nice job Richard. jp

Love comes in many forms and a wide variety of emotions. Sometimes we need to remember that to know love, is also to know everything that comes with it. I also believe we have to be givers, and then all flows towards us without effort. Ehh..just me thinking.
NIce write.
