It Only Takes a Minute

It Only Takes a Minute

It only takes a minute to tell you how I am doing.

It only takes a moment to let you know that I am fine.

To my heart, the time I spend with you, is renewing.

Even in times that my tears are mixed with wine.

I realize that sharing my world with you is healing.

Yes, even in times of pain and sorrow.

For in so doing I receive an awesome feeling.

And I know that I can face tomorrow.

Harold McLelland

Author's Notes:
Sometimes we don't want to bother those who care for us the most.
We don't want to burden them with our trivial, day to day problems.
And so we keep it all to ourselves.  We fail to remember.
Being uncertain of how our loved ones are doing is quite painful.
Remember when you share your world with those who love you,
BOTH receive strength...
It only takes a minute...

Lovely piece, without the care and love of others where would anyone of us be?

This is so applicable to my life at this moment. Thanks for sharing it.

VERY true, Ham...and I keep trying to remind my friends and loved ones about this same thing. I hope that this reaches the hearts of a lot of people that tend to try and keep things inside. Share with someone...and you'll be amazed at how much better both of you will feel!

Hugs my friend...
