The memory of you

Silent kisses sent in the wind,
blowing tenderly, warmly brushing my cheek.
I look to find your silhouette
slowly moving through the breeze
and then I know...
It is you, who's presence I breathe
savoring your essence.
Looking deep into your eyes I see a tender soul.
Looking deep through the eyes of your soul
soft and tenderly placed
on my heart of deep desire.
I long for the love of your touch.
I caress my thoughts
and collect them in an effort to not erase
the memory of you.

I have often been accused of being a romantic, wonderful state of mind isn't it? Love everything about this Helen. When a memory is that strong, it becomes reality for a few moments once again. jp
