Candle’s Desire

Candle’s Desire

Darkness surrounds as the cold sinks in.

Seems the bitter cold is destined to win.

The candle wet with wax, requires a spark.

And when it comes, it will dispel the dark.

Then no matter how hard the wind may blow,

The flame will increase, continuing to grow.

And as the flame proceeds to build heat,

Aroma of sandalwood is heady and sweet.

Now the candle has touched the scarlet flame.

It will be devoured and will never be the same.

It was for this purpose, the candle was formed.

Destiny fulfilled and the world is now warmed.

There is nothing as pretty as candles glows
in the darkness of a long night
with its warm flame

Candles of every color and perfume as the
soft breeze whispers their name
 You inspired me...
