Dragons Journey
Now that this red dragon soars serenely in the sky,
Shes happy being single, flying solo, and with no tie,-
She makes her own choices, with ease and no fear,
Listening not, to angry voices, but melodies, soothing to the ear,-
Her son flys along, with a wink in his eye,
for the future holds promise, happiness, and truth, no lie-
Together on an adventure, a new life to unfold,
I cant wait for this journey to start, if the truth be told,-
Ill miss my family, and all of my friends,
but the circle of life, and love, never ends,-
No matter the distance, were never apart,
cause our stronghold of love, comes straight from the heart........
Author's Notes:
I was mesmerised by the fire, thinking of this journey my son and I were getting ready to embark upon, a new state, new people, kinda scary, leaving everything I know behind, so that we can start fresh, a whole new life....I never want to ever wonder (what if)? so off we go, with prayer and hope....

Now you are the Ronin, a masterless Samurai following your own heart and your own rules. Good luck DeAnna, you will be in our thoughts. I do like this, a lot! Joe

So many stumbling  blocks in the narrow snakey road of life... Sometimes we just have to change every thing... Great poem ..I can relate too!!

Life will throw challenges your way, some will bring you to your knees, but I believe that you have the fortitude to withstand them. Good luck to you and your son, may you find happiness wherever you go.    Henry

This was beautiful. Never die with regrets, wondering what if. All change can be difficult and sometimes scary but the journey is always worth taking. My prayers are with you for a better tomorrow.
