And what is it that we see when our eyes open for the first time?

Could it be that life is nothing but a lie?

Denial on both sides of the coin leaves us confused.

Pushed and pulled like the tides

But it is not by the moon

Civilised society?

I see no civility in it

I have no idea where this came from, i was just thinking about this and that and it popped into me head. Maybe one of you will understand it, if you do, please share it with me.

I do believe that life is something of an illusion.  Illusion, not lie...

Denial on both sides of the coin leaves us confused.

Never good to sit on the fence?

Pushed and pulled like the tides

But it is not by the moon

Definitely sensing God...

Civilised society?

I see no civility in it

Indeed! Agreed!

because there is none.  Life is the beginning of death.  And only that.  To learn before its gone is the blessing to take to the other side...but then, I digress...

wonderful words.  Sometimes the greatest truths are the simple words that spill. :o)  Happy New Year my friend. ~Pamela

Our eyes are open but still we cannot see
this world of fakes and fonies around you and me!

That's my take on this John. Nicely done, Joe

The world around us is nothing but falseness...and it's only what others want us to see that we're allowed to see. What we end up with is a less than civilized world that is nothing like what a civilized world SHOULD be.

Yeah,  it pisses ME off, people can put on a false outside of love, care and concern...and then use it against us when they catch us most vulnerable. HOWEVER...there are still those, (like you, Barbie, and a few others) that I trust to be totally civilized and caring from the heart.

Hugs,  Bro...and ove ya bunches...

Its all pretend; all that nicey nice stuff is what people do on the outside for a huge part, so we can SAY we are civilized. Its what pisses me off about people in general. Say you care, talk it all, but to do something?? HA! I guess we are civilized to the extent that we build homes, cities, etc...we work and spend etc..but civilized? For the most part  not. Still alot of caveman ethics in us I think...depressing how much we see when we open our peepers. Always try to look on the bright side though...
Anyhow, I do understand.
I love that pic; it looks like home to me..well, somewhere I used to be anyhow..

You know you have your own way of seeing the world, and this is a perfect example...
It is just your expression of discussed of what you see, I think in any way.
I like this, well done.
