Is It You?
Is It You?

Were you unconsciously waiting for me too?

What was it that first drew me to you?

Something cosmic must have been aligned in the sky.

I know that I love you and I know the reason why.

You love me for who I am and overlook my scars.

I see your eyes when I look up to the stars.

Then at last we shall meet face to face.

Oh what a special time and special place.

"Is it you?” you will ask, as if it were fate.

"Yes it is."  I will reply “and I could not wait.”

I want to be the man you’ve dreamed of.

I have no fear because I feel your love.

Now in your presence, I will finally stand.

We’re together at last, in this Hotel Grand.

We lay together with the flicker of candle light.

Kisses are eternal as we hold each other tight.

Feel the warmth from the fireplace glow.

And feel the love that I have for you grow.

I've searched for you and have traveled so far.

Just to taste your lips and to be where you are.

Can you feel as our bodies entwine?

And we share the soothing red wine.

Lie here with me and let your mind drift away.

Never let go, for in your arms I want to stay.

OH I love that film.  It is "timeless".  A wonderful verse.  Truly there are those magical moments that cannot be denied nor explained.  So nice to read this piece this afternoon. *smile* ~Pamela

Harold,
No matter the distance  ....or the circumstances ....  Fate plays the hand of destiny ....
Sometimes  lovers are suppose to meet in another time and another place .
Because in this world we could never exist because of youth and age... Oh ..how we wish we could hold back the hands of time!!
You have touch a part of my heart ... I thought ..was dead
