Pro Congo
white teeth always sinking in.
oblivious to innocence,
a parasite's  marvel is merciless.
reverse symbiosis!
The greatest of all sophism.
a lie
from root to its seeds,
sour is the taste of its juice
withered flowers.
long has our heritage
enriched these parasites.
scattered   we are.
Queuing to abdon our birthright,
dreaming to exit our Eden
while scavangers ravish our pride.
has God betrayed Congo?
has he blessed Congo
for His people to seek asylm elsewhere?
for blood to wet its fertile soil?
where is the freedom so may died for?
So many defended?
Hope ,what is hope ?
Hope is, like a banner, seen from a distance.
It nears when eyes are opened wide.
You, child of congo  are Hope.
for Your Strenght will claim our stolen Treasure.
not with the stutter of  barrels
for guns are cowrds weapon
but by reason,wisdom,...
for you are couragous,
  You,Child of Congo.
vive le Congo

I hear your agony of soul for your homeland. There is a very dark agenda that has betrayed good people everywhere but has robbed Africa and the treasures in the mother ground.
New days are coming Ikoli. Hold fast to truth.

to ikoli - is the 4th line supposed to be 'REVERSE' not reserve?  take at look at EDWARD HOAGLAND'S Poem 'The tongue is the customer of the ear' or something like that for his story of what the french did to the Congo natives to speak 'proper' french -- thanks for sharing regards zaj
