The myth about a land

There is a myth,

About a land‘s wealth,

Stretching from West to East, North to South.

There is a myth

Of how it became to be a garden

Beautiful garden, can flowers bloom without a gardener.

There is a myth

About its fertile soil,

How it hides all that is precious

Who is working the land now!!

Heir princes, why steal what is yours?

Only if your view of it is a cake not a garden

The jealous, spoon at the ready,

Licks his lips

With a lustful stare
Hegemony his message.

A garden for everyone to see beauty,

A field for everyone to feed from.

Congo, unity is your strength.

Your future lies in the hands of your youth.

Vive le Congo

Yes, The land means more than food and beauty to those who are born and die on it. It is their land.

You've written a good poem sir.
