Thin Monster

Consume me,

Rescue my twisted mind,

Persuade me,

With my body you have designed.

Find me again,

I havenít felt so in control,

Guide me in decisions,

I'll do what I'm told.

Force fear,

Threaten me with weight,

Love me,

But also be a disease I hate.

Make them look,

My body will be what they want,

Inspire me,

So I may be able to flaunt.

Help me stand,

I feel so weak inside,

Make me invisible,

You make me want to hide.

Go away,

I can win our race,

Say goodbye,

I'll starve and leave without a trace.

I was told all my life that I was fat and as I look back on photos and all the diets I have gone through I wonder why I put myself through all that for what someone else thought of me. At 16 I was tall healthy and tan with a sparkel in my eye and I never knew how many boys wanted to go out with me. Now I'm 34 and weigh over 300 lb and struggle everyday with it

I WAS NOT FAT but I let mean words of others rule my life. Don't let that happen to you.

You have a beautiful mind let that lead you.

GREAT POEM! Keep it up.
