I have seen heaven…
I have seen beauty…
But I let her go…
I have seen love …
I have seen safety…
But I let her slip away.
Her intellectual matched her beauty,
Her skin sheltered her curvaceous African body,
Her body projected her beauty
Her being was handmade by GOD
I have seen the angel,
I know the sound of her voice,
It heals the deepest wounds of a man
I have seen the star
I have seen her emitted light
Travel miles to lead the way home
In time of darkness I have seen the difference,
Only those with good taste, see her
One man asked:
How did know they were those
I answer:
I have seen heaven,
I have seen my heaven,
But I let her go
Like a blowing wind,
I can not catch her
Like a shooting star,
I can not hold her
Because she is out my reach.
Far away, she is.
As far as east is to west,
As far as north is to south,
As far as parallel lines are to each other,
She is.
