wedding
It's spring yet there's snow on the ground.
The air is quite chilled as we gather around.
No tulips are seen, the grass is not green,
yet we gather and watch a beautiful dream.

Two hearts joined together on this special day.
Two hearts joined together with loves special way.
Together hearts dancing like a flickering fire,
burning with the beauty of loves delicate desire.

As I sit here and watch this beauty unfold,
blond hair and white dress shimmering like gold.
A young man so precious has won her dear heart.
There is nothing that can tear this true love apart.

My heart skips a beat as I look in their eye's,
twinkling so bright, brighter than the brightest of stars,
swept away on a cloud lifting them high,
this bittersweet moment is making me cry.

This is not just some ordinary day,
for in spring there's no snow, yet there is today.
The air outside though quite chilled
has not entered this room so love filled.

The warmth of each person that is here today
spilling there love in there own special way,
sharing loves joy, two hearts joined as one,
sealed with a kiss this very special union.

Even though spring has it's beauty
God planned this day to be breezy,
so we will alway remember this day
for it is not ordinary in any way.

My heart is sad, yet bubbling over with joy
as I look at this union a young girl and young boy,
united today on this special hour,
a small bud now a beautiful flower.

This moment will always hold a place in my heart.
My little girls grown, today is the day her new life will start.
So my dear Lara I'm letting go of your hand
to join it with Robbie's the way God had planned.

My congratulations to you Helen, on the wedding of your Daughter. It is a great feeling seeing them so happy, a feeling that I too will experience when my Son ties the knot three weeks from today!   Henry

Dear Helen...such a beautiful write that only a mother can understand fully...I've not had to hand mine over to another yet, but when that time comes I know I'll feel the same way. It sounds  as  though you've gained a  wonderful son from this union...I pray that their marriage is full of wonders  and beauty that will keep their love fresh and young for a lifetime.

Hugs to you, and to Lara and Robbie...

Glata
