There will be a time
Someday there will be a time
When what us earned
Will reflect a step up
Not merely treading water
Trying to keep the head above water
So as not to drown in debt
Someday there will be a time
When peace and harmony
Shall rule the day eternally
Forever casting out war
Making greed and envy
Go by way of the dinosaurs
Someday there will be a time
When men in power shall lead
Standing by the words they speak
Not be conflicted by other interests
Keeping the well being of the people
As the utmost of all priorities
Someday there will be a time
All you have to do is believe
That it is within mankinds power
To change his most inborn imstincts
If you trily believe this can be done
Line up, I have this bridge for sale, cheap!

What a closer! Gotme! :o)

When pigs fly eh? :o) sigh, alas~

I found this to be very uniquely presented./...especially the first half...had a liquistic style all its own...that I've never seen! :o)

Very interesting write to study for a poet~

Henry, a very  truthful poem.. will this world change.
I think not it has set its wobbling course.
If man wanted to change it would now be in huge print..

I believe we could change the world if everyone wanted it. Trouble is, we're all too fragmented and preoccupied with getting through each day. And too many are content to allow the present leader to keep us there. Great write Henry, If ya get anything for that bridge let me know, I've got a lake named Ontario for sale. jp

I've got that bridge's twin...And an ocean in the desert, as well, lol. If only, huh? Sad shape our world's in...but there's one thing that will always stay true...
