Who Am I?

I am,
Therefore I exist.

 Yet nothing more
Than skin and bones,
Water and dust.

So what is it that I really am?

 Do my thoughts
And dreams
Have any value?

Do they hold
Any measure of weight?

 If so, without them
I will cease to exist.

And so,   I dream.

 I look for the good
Inside of others.

For herein, lies true beauty!

 Forever I search
For the silver lining.

I dream of a brighter day.

 In search of the pot
At the end of my rainbow.

Author's Notes:

Existentialist assumes that people are entirely free and thus responsible for what they make of themselves, If this is so, our hopes and dreams must be what we are made of.

This is great, Ham...It makes you wonder at times, huh? Very interesting concept. Who am I? I'm just me...flesh and bone...and a LOT of flesh, at that, LOL!

Hugs...
