Rose and Tulip

Rose and Tulip

Amidst the rose and tulip
A fragrance of so sweet
Refreshes like your essence
In this I am complete

Reminded of your ardor
I close my eyes and breathe
And wish for just the moment
When in your eyes I see

The passion in your desire
Within your eyes so kind
Oh, the brush of your sweet lips
Plays over in my mind

This reoccuring fantasy
A loved for hope and dream
It drives my every passion
As I ponder all it means

A love that I have waited for
A hoped for dream come true
You were everything I've wanted for
On the day that I found you

So, until I find you waiting
Expectantly, just for me
This only chance to tell you now
With you I long to be
