To Adri In Africa
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
       And eternity in an hour.
W William Blake

I know you have searched

beneath surface things,

Looked for something of hope,

Something you belong to.

It can be located

although it is rare,

To know and be known,

If only in a found thing,

A rock or leaf or twisted stick,

That lies where it was broken;

Or is it in a love that exalts the world,

And all that ever dwelt there?

When you close your eyes,

It is as if an angel has awoken.

Oh Ross, I don’t know what to say…  I am so honored for this beautiful piece.  You seem to know me better then most…  I love this and will cherish it for a lifetime.
What beauty resides in words, what pictures we can sketch with sentences and rhythm and rhyme... In the end I am just luck to be able to write…  And one day, I will hopefully be able to write remotely as wonderful as you do.  Thank you so so much for this piece of beauty.
Adri x
