New Coke
Back in the eighties Coca-Cola did something so ridiculous that it had to be a joke.
I'm talking about when they made the new Coke.
I nearly puked when I tasted it, it tasted worse than diet Coke.
People didn't buy it and Coca-Cola nearly went broke.
They made the new coke taste better but people still didn't want to drink it anymore.
They finally started back using the original formula like they did before.
Every so often, a really bad idea comes.
As we saw on the Simpsons, the inventor of the new coke was fired and became a bum.

Randy, Oh...I remember that time all to well.. Nasty stuff to say the least.. I'm not much of a soda pop person..but a cold refreshing coke in the hot summer days of Texas is still a great treat...I;m more of a Ice tea..or cold beer and warm red wine woman myself... ..((smiles
 Great poem.. Hugs ~She Whispers
