So Much Under My Skin~Cowrite with Michael A. Meddings
So Much Under My Skin

In my haunted dreams you always remained
A beautiful; enchanting; delightful memory
So much under my skin, I worshiped your name

Days I counted with your voice resounding
And in my ears your sweet note softly lingered
In my haunted dreams you always remained
And even though we parted so desperately
Your memory enriched my days for you were
So much under my skin , I worshiped your name
Every living moment my mind would wander
Hapless in endless pursuit of my need for you
In my haunted dreams you always remained
For then in the dawning of my realized love
I came and offered my heart completely to you
So much under my skin, I worshiped your name
And bathed in the fragrant essence of your being
You, like a sacred incense permeate my very soul
In my haunted dreams you always remained
So much under my skin, I worshiped your

Very good poem from the two of you Cindy.  I knew already that both of you were great poets.  I am glad that I got a chance to read it at last.

Cindy this a beautiful Villanelle - It is so difficult to write vllanelle, but so rearding when you get it right as you have here. At first  I thought - O there's too much repetition here, then I recognised the villanelle form - wonderful.
