The Fight
She stands tall
strong and firm against the wind
Branches outstretched
Bracing against the rainfall

No more pain will there be
No more branches broken
The wind whistles by
She hasn't spoken

And she found her soul amoungst this pain
Her branches swaying gently within the rain

The wind now blows stronger
and the rain starts to pour
Deep within her soul is the strength she won't ignore

The calm is now within and around
Peaceful and quiet, no sound
As wind whispers "I'm sorry"
gently carressing branches outstretched
He's calmed by her stillness
Her inner strength
