I'm always with you
I looked at your faces on that dark dreary day
And wondered why you were crying since I did not go away

I'll live in your memories the corners of your mind
The good you'll remember the bad you won't find

I'd love to be with you to ease all your pain
I'd love to hold you and love you again

But I would'nt trade places to go back to that life
Where there's sorrow and hardships, turmoil and strife

I was weary and tired my soul had to rest
And your life will continue so please do your best

We will meet again I promise you'll see
For our father in heaven he died for both you and me

Those were very strong words and almost made me shed a tear. Sometimes I wonder why only the best are lost...but again by the grace of he who loves eternally...

This is a wonderul poem Helen.  I really like this line......"I'll live in your memories the corners of your mind"  and will add it to my list of favorite lines.

Losing someone that you love is extremely painful...This is such a sweet reminder that it's not the end...but a mere pause...

Hugs and smiles hon!

when we lose someone the pain is unbearable but if we could see how it is for them we would be happy.

Helen,

This was a very emotional write, you really touched my heart. I too have lost some one close to me and it is very hard to write about it.  Good Job.
