A Prayer From Above

Dream sweet dreams tonight my child for I will be by your side.

I will be the light that shines you on your way to becoming a little man.

Daddy hears every word you say when you look to the heavens and pray.

Iím here for you my son, if only one more time I could kiss your little face.

Be strong for me, my little one, try not to cry.

A prayer for you I say each night my precious little boy.

Daddy is always by your side and forever in your heart.

When ever you want to talk to me...look to the heavens and pray.

I Love You My Son.

Dear Sharri-

This is such a sad piece of thought expressed here-

And how right you are about whispered thoughts
delivered in a prayer-

Never stop talking to those who are no longer
able to visit in the flesh-
Best Wishes to You and Yours~
Peace~
James

A very touching poem.  Moves me so much, since my 4 year son's father has passed aways as well.  It's hard for the little ones to understand.  You've penned it well here, the feelings we have of wanting to love and soothe them.
