Peace at the end
My heart bleeds for the state of the world
Yet, do not paint me as a liberal
I believe in doling out fit punishments
For crimes against humanity
There is no good "excuse" for murder

God is watching it all happen
Shaking that mighty head
Thinking about flicking a finger
And wiping out the whole mistake
I've a feeling God is not liberal either

It is too late to stop the end from coming
No one is perfect, not even God
If he was perfect, there would be no liberals
Thus there would be no "excuse" makers
And the world would be a much better place

So God, if you are listening
Please hear this plea and consider it
When you decide to end it
I beg you to take the liberals out first
At least there will be some time with no bullshit
Author's Notes:
Yep, you guessed it, I am not a liberal!

Everone knows God is a Christain Rebublican, huh?..GOd seems to wipe out his humanity mistake on a simi-regular basis. He only fixed part of the problem with the flood thingy...He let a few begatters float off to start screwing up all over again....Yep, if it weren't for those damned liberals we wouldn't be in that mess in Iraq right now..:O)....Nice rant, Henry...len

I guess the only thing I personally would change is that line "No one is perfect, not even God." As you know I've been raised in the Bible belt...and so, naturally, I believe that God is perfect, but I DO understand exactly where you're coming from with this one. Liberals? Let their bleeding hearts bleed them to death....and maybe we'll all get a break!

Very good write! RIGHT on the nose with this one....

Hugs!

Dear Henry-
I LOVED THIS~
Murder is murder under any type of label

Justifying it through war is just a fable
God is in the audience watching the last act
Just before the sky cracks and paints it black
A thinking poem for sure!
Best Wishes~
Peace~
James
