Give her love and wings to fly
Set her free that her heart may try
Fill her days with happiness
Show her love filled with sweetness
Let her know the love you feel
Kiss her lips that she may know well
The love you have is for her
Then she will love you forever
Give her roses they will make her smile
Fill her days with words you compile
She will know love if you try
Give her love and wings to fly

Roses still do the trick..I think they always do.To us guys, they're pretty flowers. To a dame, they hold a deeper meaning..Fine love poem, Joe..len

Too many are willing to give the love, but then instead of giving them wings to fly, they chain them down and hold them captive.

Wonderful words, Joe...and a beautiful expression of what love should be.

Joe, sounds like a very beautiful poem inspired by an Angel... who is our friend.

Now I need a box of tissues after the laughter comes tears of happiness once more. This has been a remarkable night of emotion. You have made my heart shine like the sun. Feeling all fluffy and warm inside. How beautiful my loving friend. Kisses and hugs so tight. My heart is over flowing with joy

Love Angelxx
