Another Autumn
Dancing maples painted gold
wither in Octobers cold
Crimson oak leaves float on air
carpet earth with tender care

Juicy apples just come ripe
await eager hands to swipe
Tickled taste buds sing in glee
Heavenís sweetness from a tree

Straw men sit in silent wait
as hungry crows contemplate
Rows of corn stalks, sway in tune
to the rhythm of falls croon

Stubborn daffodils still grow
complimenting autumns show
Orange pumpkins carved by hand
adorn doorsteps looking grand

A brisk breeze rearranges
God's canvas ever changes
Colors rain from autumn skies
Natureís palette never dries

How true that last line was!  Lol, amazing!  You still capture the beauty of nature so perfect every time!  I remember when I first began reading your poetry... This is the Crystal I remember well.  And while you've got many other strengths as a writer, it realy is good to read a nature poem from you again!  If you post it, I'll know it!  Peace!

I love this one. Gorgeous imagery, and the words just seem to sing a smile on to one's face!
