Her words cry in the wilderness

Desolate lonely

A ravaged heart

Torn asunder

That lies in mortal grief

Her cries thunder through the deep ravines

Over the dry parched earth

Reaching to the sky overhead

Yet relief is not found

From this pain, that fills her soul

This torment that burns so deep within

Her life goes on

Protected by vaults of steel

Only the suffering remains the same

Wow Joe...this really drew images in my imagination...of a woman, anguished and wrought, crying out in the wilderness.

You have really acheived what you set out to do in this one...

Best wishes,

This cry in the wilderness of our hearts and the dry taste of the sand in our soul.. Our dry thirsty lips ach for the cool kiss of love  water.. I really love this.. You attack my heart with this clawing poem that reaches deep inside of my protective  heart.. you are amazing my friend.. You brush my  tears away with a cool  finger of affection  ...This is a Masterpiece!!  *****
